The Avengers Review

Synopsis:
When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.
(from wikipedia.org)

The Characters:
Iron Man- The Genius Playboy
Captain America- The Leader in the group
Hulk- The always angry doctor
Thor- The hunk and loving brother
Black Widow- Defined pretty
Hawkeye- He betrayed the group but help them defeat the enemy

The movie:
Two Thumbs up for the movie. It is full-packed. Its cinematography is really amazing. No dull moments.

Lesson I learned:

  • In every team, arguments and misunderstanding can not be avoided, but what important is, no matter how many misunderstanding a team may encounter, Team is always a team. Every member should help each other no matter what. Team work is the key.
  • Being inspired by the one we love helps us to keep on fighting.
  • Always keep in mind that in a team, each member is important.
  • Focus on your team mates strengths not on  their weaknesses
  •  Do not blame yourself once you committed a mistake. ACT. It's never too late
  • Once a loser, always a loser
"You're gonna lose, because it is your nature"
                                          -Agent Phil Coulson

That's my favorite quotation from the movie. In our Christianity, God made us victorious. Our enemies nature is to be conquered. Because they are loser in nature. In Romans 8:37, the bible states that "we are conqueror through God who loves us"

What are the things you can give up?

Giving up. Letting go. It is not actually thing easy to do. But I admire one of the bible characters, King Hezekiah. He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, . He did what is pleasing to the Lord, and God is honor with him. ( Stories at 2 Kings 18-20). King Hezekiah got sick and since God is pleased with him, He let Hezekiah live for 15 more years.

16 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the Lord: 17 Behold, the days are coming, when all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have stored up till this day, shall be carried to Babylon. Nothing shall be left, says the Lord. 18  And some of your own sons, who shall be born to you, shall be taken away, and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.”
19 Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah,“The word of the Lord that you have spoken is good.” For he thought, “Why not, if there will be peace and security in my days?”

If this will happen to me, And God will take away the things that are important to me, I couldn't really give up something so easy. It is not easy. But if it may glorify God. I will. I will do what pleases Him. “Why not, if there will be peace and security in my days?”

New Theme

I love my new theme now. Super Thanks to Gemaganda for helping me to reconstruct my theme and for doing a banner for me.

Let your Affair, DISAPPEAR

We are born selfish in nature. We are doing things, most of the time, for our benefits. And when it comes to love, since it is our nature, we are loving selfishly. We want the person we love to stays with us. We want the person we love to love no other person. We want the world of the person we love to revolve around us.

Definition:  AFFAIR A romantic and sexual relationship, sometimes one of brief duration, between two people who are not married to each other.

Since we are loving selfishly, why is that affair happens? why did someone cheats? Why did someone loves not only one?

I can really really don't understand why there are people who cheat to their partner. They are being unfaithful. They are not contented with loving one person. And I somehow don't understand how a person says "I love you" to more than one  person at a time.

I just hope, our generation will no longer commit with having an affair with someone. I pray that our generation is the generation of faithful and committed wives and husbands in the future.

Disclaimer: I am not encouraging you to love selfishly. The bible clearly states that Love is not self seeking
( 1Corinthians 13:5)

I want a customize Domain

So I'm planning to buy a domain for my blog, I believe this isn't an expense but an investment because it benefits me. Though I appreciate blogspot for my blog, I still want to have a customized domain since I can afford to buy and I want to have my own name in my blog. Im looking for a cheaper domain registration which includes a cheap hosting. Did I forget that I once worked in webhosting company? That I have worked at Tahanan.net Yaah. I consider Tahanan.net but I still look for "just in case" I could get a cheaper domain and hosting than Tahanan.net offers.
596 per year, not bad for a starter. I just wanna try it for the year.. Okay. This is a promotion, Tahanan.net should pay me because of this. If you are interested to buy a cheap domain registration and domain transfer, you can check their website http://tahanan.net/main/ or check it in  the right  side of my blog

Seven Steps to Success

1) Make a commitment to grow daily.
2) Value the process more than events.
3) Don't wait for inspiration.
4) Be willing to sacrifice pleasure for opportunity.
5) Dream big.
6) Plan your priorities.
7) Give up to go up.”

This is from John Maxwell

Can you relate?

Have you been in a relationship where you let go of the string? Usually when that happens, only God’s infinite grace – through surrender, prayer and obedience, can hand you the string back. Otherwise, you have to face the damage the kite will incur as it comes crashing down.

Try to think of romance as a kite. It’s a kite that catches the wind and tenaciously heads for the sky. Often that kite thinks to itself “If this bothersome string would just let go of me, I could really fly high.” But we all know that isn’t true, is it? Without the string holding it in the face of the wind, the kite would quickly come crashing to the ground.

Do not worry about tomorrow

Before God created Adam and Eve, He first created the things that they would needed; food, shelter and protection. They have everything, God provided everything they need, because He loves them. Just like Adam and Eve, God loves you. You don't need to be worried for your tuition fees, for what will you eat on the next day,  what will you wear on the next day. God said in Matthew 6:34: "Do not worry about tomorrow. For tomorrow will worry for itself".
Why worry? God is the God who provides for His creation. Pray. You are more precious than any of His creation. He loves you

Jesus died for us,

Man: I love you. I will die for you
Woman: No thanks. Jesus already died for me.

This is one of the things that man sometimes tell to the woman  that they are pursuing. But contrary to this statement. We, women, don't need someone to die for us. Because Jesus died for us. For me, for you, for us.  And now He lives on us. Women doesn't need a man to die for her, but rather a man who will live for Jesus, a man who will be with us, serving our Savior

Papa is so sweet

We should admit that we all love chocolates. For no reason, Papa gave me chocolates last day. He gave me chocolates that was supposedly for him. He said he's too old to be addicted with sweets. Oh sweet him. I need chocolates at this moment. Too good timing.
